  I feel bad doing this because everyone raves about Esselon, but my first experience was troubling for two reasons. The half and half that came with my coffee had a layer of curdled milk on it that I didn't notice until it plopped into my coffee cup, which is disgusting on its own. But when I brought it up to the counter the individual diplomatically said, "Oh, it's just the temperature change"... as though I have never poured coffee (or milk) before. I would have forgotten all about it if the employee had just said, "Sorry about that, let me remake that for you," rather than saying "it's just the heat, but I'll remake it anyway" and ignoring me as I pointed out the solid matter that had come out of the mug and into the sink basin.
  
  The coffee, their French Press Sumatra, was okay once it had fresh half and half, but it was weak and slightly burnt. I may or may not have finished the cup--either way, I'm very disappointed. Being grossed out is one thing, and being made to feel stupid is another brick on the pile. Hopefully others have better luck than I did.

  My favorite coffee house in the area. Great atmosphere, comfortable decor, and the smell of fresh coffee is always inviting. The food is amazing, no cheap, but worth the price. An amazing place to meet with friends or colleagues, get some writing done, or sit with your favorite loved one over a wonderful meal and big glass of wine. A must visit!
